CEA – Agency Scholars Program
The CEA Agency Scholars Program will provide financial and intellectual support to individuals who are interested in receiving certification from one of CEA’s Professional Development Modules. By investing in qualified candidates who are committed to having a successful and sustainable career in advertising, CEA believes we can contribute to the increase of African Americans and individuals of color in mid-senior level level management positions in the advertising industry.
Benefits to Contributors:
As CEA is promoted nationally, each CEA Agency Scholars Program contributor will be listed as a "Pipeline Developer" to exceptional talent to the advertising industry as well as be included on all promotional items for the center. Contributions to the CEA Agency Scholars Program will help alleviate industry concerns of adequate support from agencies and corporations to the issue of diversity. Contributors will also be provided with a qualified list of CEA Certified talent to recruit from to satisfy their hiring needs.
Current Pipeline Developers Include:
Campbell-Ewald, CBS, Deutsch, DraftFCB, Euro RSCG WW, FUSE. G2, GE, Gotham, Grey, Interpublic, JWT, Johnson & Johnson, Momentum, NBC Universal, Ogilvy, Omnicom, Publicis Groupe, Publicis USA, R/GA, Saatchi Saatchi, Verizon, VivaKi, Weiden & Kennedy and WPP.
Benefits to Scholars/Recipients:
Recipients of the CEA Agency Scholarship will be afforded with the opportunity to participate in one or more of the following CEA Modules:
Module 2 - Moving Up in Advertising: designed for existing managers with 3 - 5 years experience who are seeking additional management responsibility
Module 3 - Building Diverse Management Teams: designed for current managers and supervisors in all disciplines of the advertising industry
Module 4 - Making a Lateral Move Into Advertising: designed for mid-senior level manager participants from other industries who are interested in making a smooth transition into the advertising industry. Recipients will also be included into the CEA Certified talent database for agencies to choose from when looking for qualified talent.
